And here we have something completely different!
These are some of the collaborations I did with my friend, *
sophiecabra earlier this month while she was visiting! She drew them, and I painted them. They are done in acrylic on wood, and you can see the actual scans of the pictures in Sophie's gallery,
right here.
A couple of them are also for sale, if you are so inclined!
[Click Here] The auctions end Sunday, and it's fairly unlikely we will have any others for sale online.
These paintings were a lot of fun to work on between larger projects, mostly because they presented different artistic challenges. I really love to paint in graphical styles, and rarely get the opportunity to do so. Not to say that I don't like painting realistically rendered fur, or loosing myself in the detail of a piece, but it's nice to have a brief change of pace now and then. It keeps the artistic muscles limbered up!
Anyhow! I am back to work on comics! Specifically, a short adult one about a coyote and a horse for Heat Vol. 10, which will be out later this year.
